A front-row seat to Positano’s sunsets.
Punta Regina sits along the main vertical stretch of Positano, perfectly positioned above the right side of town where the coastline curves gently toward the sea. It’s centrally located — walking distance to many of the town’s best restaurants — yet elevated just enough to feel removed from the movement below.
The intention behind this shoot was to capture that balance: intimacy paired with perspective. The rooftop and pool area became the focal point — framed simply, allowing the view to stretch naturally across the coastline without distraction. At sunset, the light falls directly across this side of Positano, and the buildings begin to glow in a way that feels almost unreal, but completely authentic.
The Experience — Nights Above the Coast
We stayed at Punta Regina for four nights during our engagement trip, and that time gave the property a different meaning for us. Having the rooftop and pool almost entirely to ourselves felt rare — especially in Positano. Each evening, we’d sit overlooking the right side of town as the sun dropped behind the hills, watching the colors shift across the buildings and the water.
There’s something about that perspective at sunset that stays with you. It’s calm, warm, and quietly romantic without trying to be.
What truly elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Francesca in particular made everything feel personal — thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The hospitality here doesn’t feel scripted; it feels sincere.
It’s the kind of place you don’t just enjoy once — you look forward to returning to.
